President & CEO
As CEO and President, Jacob brings a wealth of business and legal expertise to Prairie Band Construction. A Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal member, Jacob has more than 16 years of experience working with tribal governments, with a focus on Indian gaming, government contracting, business development, and strategic planning. Also a licensed attorney, Jacob has extensive knowledge of tribal, federal, and state laws and regulations. He has also served as Prairie Band LLC’s business development manager and legal counsel.
Jacob earned a BS from Washburn University, MBA from Friends University, and JD from the University of Kansas School of Law.
Senior Vice President
Jennifer has developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all construction industry aspects throughout her 20-year career. As vice president, Jennifer provides executive oversight on all Prairie Band Construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. Jennifer has successfully processed all levels of documentation including submittals, quality control and safety information, change orders, pay applications, risk management and closeouts.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science Management.
Project Manager / Estimator
With eight years of construction experience, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to every project. He has worked as a project engineer, construction code inspector, and project estimator. In his various roles, Josh has compiled, updated, and maintained project schedules and budgets; processed and distributed construction documents, such as contracts, payment applications, proposal requests, change orders, RFIs, and meeting materials; reviewed project specifications, drawings, scopes and RFPS; and directed the process for project scopes and deliverables. He has worked on private sector and government projects at the local and national level.
Josh has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Missouri Western State University.
