Prairie Band Construction Wins Government Roofing Contract

HOLTON, Kan. – This month, Prairie Band Construction won a contract for roofing repair, replacement, and maintenance for the United States Air Force Guard and Reserve installations, U.S. Army, and U.S. Navy. As part of this contract, Prairie Band Construction will be providing roofing services to the Air Force on a recurring basis and services on an as-needed basis for the Army and Navy. The projects will be at various locations in the Midwest Region including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.


The scope of this project includes thermal and moisture protection for low-slope, steep slope, and metal roofing projects. Though the contract value will depend on the number of task orders Prairie Band Construction ends up performing, the total magnitude could be up to $55 million.


With a focus on obtaining more work in the federal contracting realm, Prairie Band Construction is optimistic that this win will open more doors in the future.
